The "SP-L1" is a sample rotation device that can be attached to the polishing machine IM-P2, enabling automatic polishing during embedded sample grinding. It allows for changes in head rotation speed, enabling the holder and disk to be polished at the same speed, which prevents tilting of the polished surface and pencil-like shapes, allowing for grinding without losing parallelism.
